Prof. Radivoje S Popovic receives the UK Magnetics Society Lifetime Contribution Award 2021 for his outstanding contribution to the field of magnetic sensing.
His invention in Hall sensor technology have significantly advanced the state of the art and his entrepreneurship has ensured that these inventions have had a far-reaching impact on industries ranging from high-end scientific research to mass-market automotive. Through his efforts in teaching and dissemination, including authoring the book on Hall sensors, he has ensured this know-how will be passed on to future generations.
The UK Magnetics Society feels that with this activities Prof. Radivoje S Popovic has set an excellent example for the rest of the magnetics community to follow.
